Our summer book readings have officially concluded. Thank you for a great summer of discussions! Next, we move onto our regular TENEO gatherings for the Fall. We are responding to some of the feedback we received in our survey to make two big changes:
1) The topics and dates for gatherings are going live all at once. This will allow people to make accommodations and prepare schedules for the Fall. You'll notice that we have scheduled dates for TENEO from September through November.
2) Our sessions are now being moved to Monday evenings, occurring every other week through the beginning of December. This change was made to create a more consistent schedule for TENEO and to be more accommodating to people who travel over the weekends.
As always, if you would like to provide feedback to these changes or request future changes or discussion topics, please do not hesitate to reach out to us.

Book Study: "Hosanna in Excelsis: Hymns and Devotions for the Christmas Season"
by David and Barbara Leeman
This is a wonderful book of devotionals for each day of the Christmas season. Starting November 25 and ending January 6, each day has a short single-page devotion describing the background of each hymn and then gives the hymn itself. Check it out here.
Since the devotions begin on November 25, we will make orders very soon. You can request your own $5 book below. Please send us your $5 using our new website link. (Tip: Zeffy, the service we use for donations, will automatically ask for a percentage donated to their services. None of that money goes to us, so feel free to set that to "0". Just make sure your donation matches the total at the bottom.) We will meet in January to discuss the readings. As you read, you will encounter stories you would like to learn more about. Take some extra time for at least one of these hymns to study it further. We will discuss the hymns and share some of the extra information we learn at our gathering. |
