January 26, 2026 - Hell
Description:
The doctrine of Hell is fundamental to the Christian faith. Jesus taught about it. The apostles wrote about it. Preachers preach on it. We will take a look at various views Christians propose for the after-life and I will defend why I believe the orthodox view that Hell is a place of eternal torment. We will discuss questions like: What is Hell? Does it really exist? Is it physical? Is it everlasting?
Kirk Cameron created quite a stir when he suggested he was open to Annihilationism vs. Eternal Conscious Torment (ECT). Here is the video.

Since the Protestant Reformation in the 16th century the Christian Church has reformed, splintered, divided, renewed, and adapted. Yet, the Church remains united in essential doctrine even though doctrinal distinctions have led to a plethora of denominations. We will look at the history and lineage of the many denominations that exist today.
